River and Mersey have been health checked neutered vaccinated and microchipped and are looking for their new home together ideally as house bunnies but could be rehomed to a suitable set up outside aslong as they are groomed regularly.

River (grey female) and Mersey (black male) are small to medium sized lionhead bunnies. Ant & Dec (RSPCA Cheshire)

Meet our very handsome boys Ant and Dec! Any and Dec are approximately 3-4 years old and are large lops.

They came into our care along with several other rabbits after their owner died and remaining family were unable to look after them. Ant and Dec were living in accommodation which was far to small for them, they were also being fed a completely unsuitable muesli food diet. As a result of the wrong diet and very little exercise they are both abit on the chunky side! Plenty of hay is really important for all rabbits to keep their teeth and digestive systems healthy.

Ant and Dec are a little shy at the moment but given time a reassurance they will make fantastic bunnies.

They have been neutered vaccinated and microchipped and are looking for a new home together.

Please contact Julia at RSPCA Cheshire (based in Altrincham) on – 0161 286 2503 for more information.

Flora & Fleur (RSPCA Cheshire)

We call these two little and large.  Flora is the bigger bunny and Fleur is so small she almost looks like a Netherland Dwarf; very pretty bunnies who are very close to each other.

These two are still quite nervous but we see their confidence growing all the time; with the extra love and attention they would get in their forever home, this would really help them to come out of their shell.

They are quite wary but they have gone from hiding away in their hutch to now taking food out of our hands. Fleur is the more confident out of the two and will be the first to come and take her veggies, then Flora will follow her sister.

They currently live in a two story hutch but don’t like to use the ramp so would be better as house bunnies or with a large one storey space to live in.

When it comes to their food, they were quite picky when they arrived but are now enjoying their food more.  They prefer to have readigrass and some timothy hay in their diet and enjoy their leafy greens (spring greens, kale, cauliflower leaves).

They are not fond of being handled at the moment and can be a little difficult to pick up but once you have hold of them are quite calm.

These two are very special bunnies who just need a bit of TLC.

Please contact Julia at RSPCA Cheshire (based in Altrincham) on – 0161 286 2503 for more information.

Cream Dwarf Hamster  (Little Animals Adoption)

This little girl is a cream dwarf hamster (Campbell’s or hybrid, we aren’t too sure) who is six months old, who was part of an unexpected litter. She’s very friendly and inquisitive, and incredibly gentle and calm. She absolutely loves to burrow, she loves her wheel and really enjoys coming out of her cage. She would be fine with children but because she is a dwarf hamster she would be better for older children and teenagers as she is small and delicate. We have struggled to find a home for her because of her lovely red eyes, which is such a shame because she is one of the loveliest hamsters I have had the pleasure of looking after.

The adoption fee is £20, which includes her cage, her favourite toys, a bag of food and an information booklet.
Small animals can be reserved for £3, which will be deducted from the fee.
We take back hamsters at any time for a partial refund because we understand that circumstances can change.

Resident cockeralls Colin and Dave are practically reaching legendary status at the centre. They can often be found either side of the entrance, we think they would make great bouncers! They are up for adoption if you have a small holding, farm or similar.

When they aren’t pestering volunteers, they try to steal cat food or dig up the ground for a mud bath.
