Mr Wriggles (RSPCA Cheshire)

Introducing our very handsome Mr Wriggles. Mr Wriggles came into our care after he was found wandering down the street on his own. Mr Wriggles was microchipped but unfortunately his details were not kept upto date so the person he was registered to had rehomed him a year previously.
Mr Wriggles is a medium to large sized lop eared harlequin boy, he is nearly 2 years old according to his existing microchip details.
Mr Wriggles has only been with us a short time but so far he seems to be a sweet gentle boy and seems to be used to being handled.
Mr Wriggles has previously lived with another rabbit so now he has been health checked neutered and vaccinated against myxomatosis vhd1 and will soon be vaccinated against vhd2, he is looking for a home where he will be bonded with a neutered female rabbit.

Vera (RSPCA Cheshire)

This lovely lady is Vera. She is a medium sized up eared bunny she possibly has  a bit of Lionhead in her, we have estimated her age at approximately a year old.
Vera came into our care in a bit of a sorry state, she was very skinny and had lots of fur missing. She was found as a stray so we have no idea what had happened to her.
Vera was very scared when she first came into our care but she is now so much more confident, she can be a little shy of people she doesn’t know but food soon wins her around! She is fantastically litter trained. Vera is a very intelligent bunny and loves lots of toys to play with and keep her occupied.
Vera has been neutered vaccinated and microchipped and is looking to be bonded with a neutered male rabbit.

Odin (RSPCA Cheshire)

Gorgeous old boy Odin waiting patiently for his very own retirement home. Odin came into our care with a very large group of rats who had obviously been very neglected, living in very overcrowded dirty conditions.
Odin has an old injury to his left eye, causing him to squint, we aren’t sure how much vision he has in that eye if any, it doesn’t cause him any concerns.
Odin is looking for a quiet home where he will be pampered in his old age. Because of his history he is looking for a home as a single rat.

Flora & Fleur (RSPCA Cheshire)

Meet our lovely ladies Flora and Fleur. Flora send Fleur are small to medium sized up eared cross breed bunnies. Fleur is approximately 10 months old and Flora is approximately 5 months old.
They were being kept in tiny dirty conditions completely unsuitable for any animal. Both bunnies were quite skinny when they first came into our care.
Both bunnies have been health checked and are now fully vaccinated, Fleur has been neutered and microchipped, Flora is still abit to underweight so is waiting another couple of weeks when hopefully she will have put abit of weight on.
Flora and Fleur were understandably both very timid when they arrived with us, they are now slowly growing in confidence especially when they know food is on offer!
Flora and Fleur can either be rehomed as a pair or separately to be bonded with neutered male rabbits.

Degus (Tails Animal Rescue)

These are four lovely little degus, all girls, who have formed a community and need to be rehomed together.  We can give you the cage they came in but we are looking for an experienced owner.  They are around 8 months old, and they live for 5-8 years, so they are still young.  They need a sand bath 2-3 times a week and all have their own little personalities.  Not sure about these with young children, they are sensitive little animals and can’t be picked up by their tails.  They are really friendly and can be handled.  They will need lots to gnaw on and lots of love and care.

Please ring John on 07892 823257.

Jessica & Freddie (RSPCA Cheshire)

Meet our cute pair Jessica & Freddie, who recently came into our care after a change in their owner’s circumstances. Jessica is a 2 year old Grey mini lop, and Freddie an 8 month old black and white lionhead cross. They’re very closely bonded so are looking for their forever home together. In their previous home they had the run of a large outdoor area, so would ideally like to be rehomed somewhere similar with lots of space to run and binky. They’re both good at being handled and enjoy a fuss either from each other or from their humans. Both are neutered, vaccinated and microchipped, so if you think this lovely pair could become new additions to your family please get in touch.

Twinkle  & Star (RSPCA Cheshire)

This gorgeous pair are brother and sister pair Twinkle and star.
Twinkle and Star came into our care along with their siblings and mum at just a week old, unfortunately at just 3 weeks old they were orphaned. They are now 6 months old and are ready to find their forever home. They have grown up as house rabbits and have been well socialised. They are now living in an outside setup so could be rehomed as either indoor or outdoor bunnies. They are confident friendly sociable bunnies.
Twinkle and star are perfectly litter trained. Being young they will need plenty of toys to keep them occupied, they are very adventurous and do quite often get upto mischief!
Twinkle and star are on a very specific diet of hay, readi grass and spring greens, hopefully as they grow older they may be able to have more of a variety of veg introduced into their diet but for now anything new upsets their tummies.
Twinkle and star have been health checked vaccinated neutered and microchipped.

Chester (RSPCA Cheshire)

This lovely lad is Chester he is approximately 9 months old and is a small to medium sized up eared bunny.
Chester came into our care in May 2016 at approximately 2 months old after he was found dumped in a shopping basket along with his 3 siblings. Chester was rehomed but has been returned due to a break down in the bond with his brother.
Chester is a real character! He is an escape artist and can really jump! Any new home will need to be secure to make sure he stays safe.
Chester has been neutered vaccinated and microchipped. Chester could be rehomed on his own as a single house rabbit in a home where he won’t be left alone for long periods of time. Or he could be bonded with a calm neutered female rabbit.

She is a little more independent than the others. She likes to take her food and eat it on her own away from the group.
She is quite agile and can really jump and loves binkying around the run so think she would enjoy quite a bit of space to explore in her new home. She is very fast!
She is not quite as easy to handle but is quite happy enjoying some greens sat on your knee.

Heidi, Ruby & Rosie (RSPCA Cheshire)

The trio are all neutered vaccinated and microchipped. They are by nature quite shy bunnies, saying that they are inquisitive especially when they think food is on offer. They love lots of space to explore and binky and enjoy having lots of toys to play with and chuck around. The trio are fantastically litter trained and have a great diet, hay is their favourite!
Heidi Ruby and Rosie would love to find their forever home together but we would also rehome separately to be bonded with existing neutered male rabbits. They are looking for a home without young children but they are confident around rabbit friendly dogs.

Foster Update:

They are beautiful bunnies, all adore each other and have grown in confidence. They love their toys and playing out, running at high speed, binkying and are generally very inquisitive. They adore their food and know every word you say when it comes to meal times!

They are still very clean and use their litter trays.

They still don’t like to be handled or stroked much, Ruby is the friendliest, she will let you stroke her on occasion whilst Heidi and Rosie wil only tolerate being stroked if you’ve got food or are eating!

Degus (RSPCA Cheshire)

Mr Fredrickson and his sons, Dug and Kevin, came into our care back in August 2016 when Dug and Kevin were only three weeks old. They have been handled daily, and as a result are very friendly and curious. Like most degus, they don’t particularly like being picked up – but will tolerate it once they have gotten to know you. However, they prefer to choose when to approach you, and will willingly climb up on your outstretched hand. Mr Fredrickson is particularly friendly, and often climbs up to sit on my shoulder.

Mr Fredrickson is the dominant degu in the group, and tends to get the first piece of any treats on offer. He is not afraid to tell his sons off if they are getting too pushy, but is also very affectionate towards them and will snuggle up to them at night.

Kevin sometimes tries to challenge Mr Fredrickson for the dominant role, but gives up pretty quickly and has so far not been successful. Kevin is the one who looks out for the others, and will warn them by making a high-pitched squeak if he thinks there’s a potential threat close by (most likely a hoover).

Dug is the shy one and will stay out of the way when Kevin and Mr Fredrickson have an argument. He loves look-out points, and will often climb up on the bookshelf when they are let out in the room. The only problem is that he has not figured out how to get back down, so will need a helping hand to safely get back on the ground.

The boys love nibbling on wood, so it’s important that they have plenty of safe wood in their cage and definitely no plastic! They love coming out for a run around the room, but it’s important to make sure there are no cracks for them to hide in as they will find them and then only come out if bribed with their favourite treat.

Mr Fredrickson, Dug and Kevin are looking for their forever home together.

Heidi (RSPCA Cheshire)

This lovely lady is Heidi she is a 1-2 year old medium sized up eared bunny. Heidi came into our care via the national Rspca after she was found dumped in a box along with her 4 tiny 2 week old babies and 5 other adult rabbits. Then after 2 weeks in our care Heidi unexpectedly gave birth to another 7 babies! Poor girl must have got pregnant again straight after giving birth to the litter she came into our care with. Heidi has been a fantastic mum and dotes on her babies, she is still living with her son and 2 of her daughters. She could be rehomed with her babies or to be bonded with a neutered male rabbit.
Heidi has been health checked, neutered, vaccinated for myxomatosis vhd1 and vhd2 and microchipped.
Heidi loves her food she is very sociable when she knows it’s feeding time and will come running and try to mug you for any food you may have! She is also a fantastic hay eater. She can be a little skittish if she’s spooked. Heidi isn’t phased by the dogs in the foster home but can be spooked by other dogs/animals she doesn’t know. Heidi is looking for a home as an adults rabbit, she will be ok to go to a home with children but not as a children’s rabbit. Heidi really doesn’t like being touched and she really doesn’t like being picked up. We haven’t worked on this too much up until now as she has been rearing her babies so we haven’t wanted to upset her. Once you have hold of her she just sits petrified bless her. This can be worked on in her new home.
Heidi is wonderfully litter trained she is one of the cleanest rabbits we have ever had in our care and she has taught all her babies to be immaculately clean too!

Cream Dwarf Hamster  (Little Animals Adoption)

This little girl is a cream dwarf hamster (Campbell’s or hybrid, we aren’t too sure) who is six months old, who was part of an unexpected litter. She’s very friendly and inquisitive, and incredibly gentle and calm. She absolutely loves to burrow, she loves her wheel and really enjoys coming out of her cage. She would be fine with children but because she is a dwarf hamster she would be better for older children and teenagers as she is small and delicate. We have struggled to find a home for her because of her lovely red eyes, which is such a shame because she is one of the loveliest hamsters I have had the pleasure of looking after.

The adoption fee is £20, which includes her cage, her favourite toys, a bag of food and an information booklet.
Small animals can be reserved for £3, which will be deducted from the fee.
We take back hamsters at any time for a partial refund because we understand that circumstances can change.
