Tabby boy & Semi-Long haired girl (Tails Animal Rescue)

These beautiful kittens are a tabby boy and a semi-long haired tabby/white girl.  The tabby boy is relaxed with everything and confident with dogs, both the boy and the girl are ok with other cats and children.  The girl is a little less confident so probably best in a home without dogs.  They are not siblings and could either be homed together or separately.  The shyer girl will need a little bit more love and time to adjust to her new surroundings.  They are about 12 weeks old.

Please ring Elaine on 07971 547336.

Sooty & Sweep (Tails Animal Rescue)

Sooty and Sweep are two 10 year old cats, one male and one female.  They lived together until their owner’s oncoming disability got to a point where she couldn’t look after them any more.  They are black and very fluffy, long-haired, neutered and microchipped.  They are friendly cats, they could be rehomed together or separately.  Their vaccinations are up to date and we have medical records for them.

Ninja’s Kittens (Tails Animal Rescue)

Their mum is jet black, hence the name!!  There are two boy black kittens left, they are almost 4 months old (born August) and ready for rehoming now.    They will be small cats as mum was only tiny.  One is shy and the other is pretty forward.  Our preference is for them to be homed together but could go separately.  If rehomed separately, the shyer one would need some TLC to bring him out of his shell.

Please ring John on 07892 823257 between 1pm and 6pm, Monday to Sunday.

Emily (Tails Animal Rescue)

This young lady is about 10 months old (born around February) and is neutered and microchipped.  She is a friendly little girl who loves to play and she  needs a home after a life on the streets.  She was found living as a stray in Manchester. She would prefer to be an only cat, as she is prone to being bullied by more dominant cats.  She is very sweet and gives love easily.  She is litterbox trained.  She loves watching nature programmes, has worked out what door handles are for and this morning brought her foster carer a sachet of food for her to open!

Please ring John on 07892 823257 between 1pm and 6pm, Monday to Sunday.

Ring John on 07892 823257 between 1pm and 6pm, Monday to Sunday.

Tinkerbell (Cats Protection – Wirral)

Quiet and unassuming, six-year-old Tinkerbell enjoys affection and a calm environment. She is fond of affection. On her terms, of course. Alhough she has access to outside space, this peace-loving puss is happier chilling indoors. As long as there are no other cats or dogs to unsettle her. Or small children who won’t help her sense of serenity.

The beautiful black-and-white girl is looking for a another home due to a change in her owner’s circumstances.

To give Tinkerbell a home with the care she needs call us on 0345 260 1376 or email coordinator@northwirral.cats.org.uk

(added 26/06/2017)

Cookie (Cats Protection – Wirral)

A tortoiseshell with a big heart, this six-year-old girl joined her current owner as a stray. Although perfect at showering people with lots of love, Cookie is singularly unimpressed with the resident cat — which often finds itself the target of her aggression — so she is better off in a home where there are no other cats and no dogs. As she can lash out when threatened, a more mature household is ideal for her. And everyone. An outdoor-indoor cat, this colourful character prefers to spend most of her time indoors.

Cookie needs to be fed Iams-brand rather than general cat food which, on veterinary advice, is too rich for her. She had previously had a problem passing blood but an Iams diet has corrected this. Cookie is vaccinated and neutered.

To give Cookie a home with the care she needs call us on 0345 260 1376 or email coordinator@northwirral.cats.org.uk

Milly (Cats Protection – Wirral)

This lovely lady craves the companionship and cuddles she had was used to before her owner sadly passed away. Three weeks on and Milly remains at the property being fed by neighbours. When this sociable soul isn’t seeking attention from passers-by, she can often be found sitting outside on the doorstep waiting for her owner to come home.

With youthfulness and spirit that belie her 17 years, Milly will shower her new owners with plenty of affection and will make a delightful addition to a household where she is the only cat.

If you can give Milly the compassion and comfort she needs call us on 0345 260 1376 or email coordinator@northwirral.cats.org.uk.

Mojo (Cats Protection – Wirral)

This playful puss has been living in a flat but adores being taken outside and would love a home where she gets to feel the grass beneath her paws. A change in her owner’s circumstances sees her looking for a home where she gets do real cat things while enjoying an indoor-outdoor lifestyle. Mojo’s an independent character who doesn’t like too much attention. Unless she decides it’s cuddle time, of course. She is vaccinated, neutered and microchipped.

If you can give this good-natured girl what she needs, contact us on 0345 260 1376 or email coordinator@northwirral.cats.org.uk. Free free to use/include the following links, if you wish.

Chester & Smokey (Laurel Animal Rescue)

Say hello to the gorgeous Chester & Smokey. They are 18 month old brother and sister and are looking for their new home.

They were originally found in a cardboard box on a building site at approx 8 weeks old. The finder took them to the vets, had them checked over and took them home. However their situation has changed and they were unable to keep them.

Chester, the ginger one is super friendly, lovable and very confident. Smokey is a bit more laid back but does love chin tickles. They both enjoy being brushed and will need a committed owner who will continue to brush their coats daily.

They are currently in with other cats, but haven’t met the dogs yet.

Barney (Warrington Animal Welfare)

Barney – Kitten DSH

8 Weeks Old male

Warrington Animal Welfare

Barney is just a gorgeous fluffball!  He was found in a factory when he was 3-4 weeks old (his mum was probably a feral cat) and was rushed to the vets as he had really sore eyes. Barney is a really playful lad who loves his toys and cuddles, he is growing into a proper cheeky chappie!

Barney will be ready to go to his forever home in the new year.  Due to his previous eye problems he needs to be rehomed as an only cat, so we like single kittens to go to homes where they won’t be left alone for long lengths of time.

RifRaf (Warrington Animal Welfare)

RifRaf – Cat DSH
11 Years Old male
Warrington Animal WelfareRifRaf is a a gentle oldie, a ‘Senior Kittizen’ who just wants cuddles and a lap to snooze on.Here are 10 reasons to adopt a Senior Kittizens!1. The personality of an older cat is already known – making it easier to match you with the right cat!2. Older Cats are generally less demanding than youngsters, and need less supervision, so if you work outside the home, an adult cat is much better able to content itself while you are out than a youngster.3. Most older cats are seeking little more than a warm lap, regular food and love!4. Adult cats from a rescue will be neutered, litter trained, and calmer than a youngster.5. If you have an older cat already, another oldie, carefully introduced, can be less stressful for him/her than a kitten.6. The older cat is less likely to catch birds and mice than a youngster, or at least much less often.7. Cats regularly live into their late teens these days, so most seniors will have many years of life and love to give.8. A senior puss is unlikely to leap up on your shelves and knock your ornaments off, or to climb up your curtains!9. Farm/Stable Cats (Warrington Animal Welfare)

Farm/Stable Cats – SPECIAL HOME – Cat DSH
4 Months Old female
Warrington Animal Welfare

*WE NEED A SPECIAL HOME*

These young girls are not suited to a life as pet cats as they are semi-feral.  They have missed out on human contact when they were kittens and so are very wary of humans.

We are looking for a home for them where they are fed and looked after but can roam freely, for example on a stable yard.  With time and patience they may allow people to briefly stroke them, but they probably never will be “lap cats.”

Primrose and Blue MUST be rehomed together, as they were adopted together previously, and would miss each other very much.

Cathy & Heathcliffe (Warrington Animal Welfare)

Cathy and Heathcliffe – Cat DSH
18 Months and 1 Year Old mixed

Warrington Animal Welfare

Cathy and Heathcliff, a pair of cats seeking a special home. They have had it rough for a while, living in a shed and were covered in fleas when they arrived. Cathy (tabby) loves people and craves attention but is rather shy, and Heathcliff is very scared and will hiss but is quickly learning that being around people is ok.

Cathy is 18 months old, Heathcliff a year old, and they are neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. They just need a loving home together in which to grow in confidence and feel loved again.

Avril & Stevie (Warrington Animal Welfare)

SPECIAL HOME – Cat DSH
Adult, mixed

Warrington Animal Welfare

Avril & Stevie are part of the group of cats with Dolly, Christina and Ariana – and we would prefer to rehome them as a pair.

Stevie (right) and Avril (left) are two best friends looking for a loving home together – a very special home to make up for their tough past, living in cramped conditions with multiple cats and not been fed properly.  They have all had to have dental treatment – some of these poor kitties have no teeth left so have funny smiles.
They were very nervous when they first arrived, but have grown in confidence and enjoy head rubs and fussing’s once they get to know you.

Stevie and Avril MUST be rehomed together as they spend their days snuggling and grooming each other. They just need a kind human friend who can give them the love and care they need.

Elric (Warrington Animal Welfare)

Cat DSH
3 Years Old male

Poor Elric came to us after spending months on the streets – nobody could find his owners.  He was at the centre, but pod life really didn’t suit him and he was very miserable.

He is now with one of our fosterers and the difference is amazing!  He is showing his foster mum that he is an affectionate, playful cat – all he needed was a proper home to bring him out of his shell.

Celine & Dione (Warrington Animal Welfare)

Celine and Dione (long stayers – been overlooked) – Cat DSH
4 and 2 Years Old female
Warrington Animal Welfare

Celine and Dionne came to us with Mylie, and sadly they were also suffering from a nasty flea infestation. Celine is the older 4 year old lady with more white on her face, and Dionne is the younger at 2 years old.

Celine is the more confident of the two and will come to you for head rubs and cuddles, whilst Dionne is shyer and likes to stay in the outside area, but does not mind being picked up for a quick fuss. They just need a loving home together, and a patient human friend who can help them come out of their shells.

Marshall, Minnie & Mango (Cat Homing and Rescue – Warrington)

Meet Marshall, Mango and Minnie,  three pretty little sibling kittens about 9 weeks old now looking for their forever loving homes. These little kittens are two little girls Minnie and Mango and a little boy called Marshall. They are all friendly affectionate little kittens and can be re-homed with a cat friendly dog and another friendly little cat. However we do not re-home any of our kittens with children under the age of five years. These kittens all have little individual personalities and markings. Marshall is the kitten sitting by the window and he loves exploring. Mango is the kitten lying down and she loves having her tummy tickled and Minnie is the kitten with the smudge on the side of her nose and she is quite vocal.

All these kittens will make loyal and loving pets. Our rescue manager, Hazel, will conduct a home visit before an adoption is authorised and we would ask for a minimum donation of £65 for each kitten to cover their vet fees, ie vaccinations, microchipping and neutering when old enough. We offer a complimentary 4 week petplan insurance on the day of adoption for each kitten. If you would like to adopt any of our rescue kittens please email your details ie address, postcode, work commitments and a landline number to maeggiejean2000@yahoo.co.uk We are looking to re-homing our kittens in a safe location with possible access to a secure garden

Suki (Cat Homing and Rescue – Warrington)

MEET SUKI A 5 HALF – 6 YEAR OLD FEMALE TABBY AND WHITE CAT WHO HAS REcently been taken into our rescue as her owner is terminally ill and had to go into a hospice. This is a very sad situation as this little cat has lived with her owner since she was a kitten and now needs a new forever loving home. Suki would best be re-homed in a quiet household with a lady owner who has no other cats, dogs or children. Suki is quite shy but will be a loyal and loving companion once she gains your trust. She will need lots of love and attention to help her adjust to her hew home and environment.

Her details will shortly be posted on catchat.org and on our very own web page www.cathomingandrescue.co.uk

If you believe you meet our homing criteria and would like to offer Suki a permanent forever loving home, please email your details ie address, postcode, work commitments and a landline number we can contact you on to maeggiejean2000@yahoo.co.uk
Our rescue manager will conduct a home visit before an adoption is authorised and we would ask for a minimum donation of £65 to cover all suki’s vet fees. This little cat has been fully vaccinated, microchipped, neutered and vet health checked.

Myrtle (Laurel Animal Rescue)

Myrtle is a petite black & white girl who arrived with us with her two ten day old kittens. The upsetting thing about this is she is only a kitten herself. This just highlights the importance of neutering.
She is a very loving cat. She wasn’t keen on other cats at first, but she soon got used to them in our catpen and is currently sharing it with 9 others. She keeps herself to herself and still prefers humans to cats but will happy queue up with the others for Dreamies!

If you would like to offer a home to Hubble, please message Laurel Animal Rescue on Facebook or Twitter or phone 07518 256160 or 07590 900330.

Robyn (Laurel Animal Rescue)

Robyn is a stunning, sleek tabby cat who arrived with us after giving birth in a garden shed in St Helens. So on a cold, wet Sunday night we went to get Robyn and her babies to safety.
As usual, the kittens all found homes and people overlook the mum cat.
Robyn is now neutered and looking for her forever home. We believe her to be 12 months old. She’s fine around other cats and enjoys chin tickles. She has also been around dogs while in our care.

Please message Laurel Animal Rescue on Facebook or Twitter or phone 07518 256160 or 07590 900330.
