Willis (RSPCA Cheshire)

Meet our special boy Willis, who’s had a tough time and really deserves a perfect forever home for him and his fabulous moustache! Willis is about 4 years old, and was abandoned by his original owner, left outside to fend for himself. A kind neighbour looked after him on a local allotment for a while but then they too had to move away, and Willis yet again found himself left behind. He came into RSPCA foster care a few months ago, and now he’s had a chance to settle and see that the world isn’t such a scary place, he’s ready to start thinking about his next (and hopefully forever!) home. Understandably he’s a bit wary of people after so much upheaval, but he’s a sweet little character once you get to know him, and he wants nothing more than a comfy spot on your bed so can snuggle up next to you at night, plenty of his favourite Whiskas food, and a little chin tickle from time to time. His absolute favourite things are ham and catnip, and he loves a good roll around with his toys! Willis would like to be the only pet in the household, and would prefer a quiet home without young children, somewhere where he can build his confidence gradually. We hope he’ll want to start going outside eventually, and as he is easily spooked he would like somewhere with a nice safe garden he can explore without the risk of running into danger by accident. Willis has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped, and can’t wait to finally find the place he belongs, so if you think that could be with you please get in touch.

Bubba Ray (RSPCA Cheshire)

This handsome little boy is Bubba Ray. He’s a lovely, friendly kitten. Bubba loves to play with anything with feathers and is the bravest kitten on the cat tree, he can get all the way to the top! Bubba Ray likes to snuggle up with his foster mum of an evening. He’s a couch potato and loves to watch TV! Bubba Ray is a very social kitty so would benefit with another cat or a dog to play with.  He’s great with children and is a very laid back little kitten.

Dexter & Elvis (Tails Animal Rescue)

Sadly due to family split and subsequent house move, these two handsome boys need a loving, new home as soon as possible.  They are brothers, born 9th May 2015, called Dexter and Elvis. and they are black and white British Shorthairs.  Elvis is mainly black with a white neck and four white socks. Dexter has a white nose, chin, neck and chest with four white socks. Elvis is a slightly bigger build but is somewhat more laid back whereas Dexter likes to play fetch, especially with a piece of rolled up tin foil or stalk his brother and jump on him. To date they have never been outside as their owner lives near a busy road so they have been house cats but they could adapt.  They are neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and litter-box trained. Both have a clean bill of health. There have been no small children for them to experience but they have been fine around older children, however Dexter is more timid than Elvis. For fun, and if they can access the bathroom, they love playing with a lid in the bath like an ice hockey puck and even better if they can turn the tap on, they like to play with a trickle of water! Also, they enjoy  making a den in the washing or under a blanket. They live in Mid Cheshire and need to be rehomed as a pair as they are best of friends as well as brothers.

Please ring Estelle at Tails in the first instance on 07590 040904.

Mickey (Tails Animal Rescue)

This is little Mickey, he is looking for a new home and a new start, after living in a home where he was being mistreated by a young child.  So he needs no children, but he remains a loving little boy, only six months old, completely black and neutered.  He needs to be the only pet, he is really active and very, very affectionate, loving the cuddles but keen to carry on exploring and chasing things.

Please ring John on 07892 823257.

Skip & Cleo (Tails Animal Rescue)

These 14 week old kittens are a brother (Skip on the left) and sister (Cleo on the right).  They were abandoned at Knutsford services and were living under the bins.  We know they had a home before because they are well used to being handled and are friendly souls.  They need a home together because they have a strong bond and Cleo especially relies on her brother to look out for her.  They are litter-trained, will be neutered and at this young age, they should be ok with other cats.  They have had no experience of dogs so any dog in their new family would have to be used to living with cats and they should be fine.  Children who are careful with animals should also be ok.

Please ring John on 07892 823257.

Fudge (RSPCA Cheshire)

Fudge is a lovely tortie female about 18 months old. She came in to us with her five kittens and was a very devoted mum. Fudge is very gentle and friendly, she is quite vocal as if she’s trying to talk to you and loves to sit and be petted. She loves children and will go to sit with them. Fudge now needs a loving home where she can be nurtured and build herself back up. Ideally she would love to be the only pet in the household, she can’t live with a dog as she is very scared of them, she is ok though with other cats. Fudge will be spayed, microchipped, flead, wormed and vaccinated ready for her new home.

For more information, please call Julia on 0161 286 2503.

Paige (RSPCA Cheshire)

Is there somebody out there ready to adopt our gorgeous, laid back Paige?  She is a black and white female cat, who is 3 years of age.  She is a lovely natured girl, very sweet and gentle and she also has her playful moments, chasing her mouse on a string or little fluffy ball.  Paige recently had a litter of five kittens and she was a great mum to them.  She was quite thin by the time the kittens weaned but she is a lovely healthy size again now.

Paige loves cuddles and attention and she is a super confident little Miss, stretching herself out on the hall landing and rolling around on her back.  It took her no time at all to settle into her foster home. She is very trusting of people in general and is great with children.  She is quite happy to be picked up and fussed and has a consistently friendly response to being handled.

Paige has a very cute little snore when she is resting and is quite vocal, especially with demanding food, when she is awake.  Paige has bright amber eyes and is queen of the slow eye close when she looks at you which translates as smiling in cat language.  She is beautifully docile and content and follows you round, watching and smiling all day long.

Paige is neutered, micro-chipped and vaccinated and all ready to go to a loving home where she can receive full princess treatment.  She is well behaved with dogs and other cats, once she has got to know them.

Harry (RSPCA Cheshire)

Harry is an affectionate 4 year old male cat. He absolutely loves attention, cuddles and play time! Harry doesn’t seem to be affected by only having one eye, and is still a keen hunter of feathered toys and string! Dreamies and catnip are amongst Harry’s favourite things. Infact he likes treats so much, his fosterers are convinced he sometimes forgets to chew and just inhales.

Harry has been used to enjoying time outside in his previous home, but as he is missing an eye, he would benefit from being supervised when outdoors. Harry needs to go to a quiet area, away from busy roads where he can enjoy company, cuddles and fusses for most of the day!

If you are interested in adopting our lovely Harry please call Julia on 0161 286 2503.

Alfie (RSPCA Cheshire)

Alfie is about 7 years old and appears friendly with other cats. When he isn’t enjoying a cuddle he spends a lot of the day sleeping or gazing out of the window – he went outside in his previous home and would like to be able to do that in his quiet new home. He is neutered, microchipped and vaccinated.

Barney (Warrington Animal Welfare)

Barney – Kitten DSH

8 Weeks Old male

Warrington Animal Welfare

Barney is just a gorgeous fluffball!  He was found in a factory when he was 3-4 weeks old (his mum was probably a feral cat) and was rushed to the vets as he had really sore eyes. Barney is a really playful lad who loves his toys and cuddles, he is growing into a proper cheeky chappie!

Barney will be ready to go to his forever home in the new year.  Due to his previous eye problems he needs to be rehomed as an only cat, so we like single kittens to go to homes where they won’t be left alone for long lengths of time.

RifRaf (Warrington Animal Welfare)

RifRaf – Cat DSH
11 Years Old male
Warrington Animal WelfareRifRaf is a a gentle oldie, a ‘Senior Kittizen’ who just wants cuddles and a lap to snooze on.Here are 10 reasons to adopt a Senior Kittizens!1. The personality of an older cat is already known – making it easier to match you with the right cat!2. Older Cats are generally less demanding than youngsters, and need less supervision, so if you work outside the home, an adult cat is much better able to content itself while you are out than a youngster.3. Most older cats are seeking little more than a warm lap, regular food and love!4. Adult cats from a rescue will be neutered, litter trained, and calmer than a youngster.5. If you have an older cat already, another oldie, carefully introduced, can be less stressful for him/her than a kitten.6. The older cat is less likely to catch birds and mice than a youngster, or at least much less often.7. Cats regularly live into their late teens these days, so most seniors will have many years of life and love to give.8. A senior puss is unlikely to leap up on your shelves and knock your ornaments off, or to climb up your curtains!9. Mature Mogs are so grateful to have found a loving home again – they will repay your love ten-fold!10. And last but by no means least…Senior Kittizens Rock! (between naps)

Farm/Stable Cats (Warrington Animal Welfare)

Farm/Stable Cats – SPECIAL HOME – Cat DSH
4 Months Old female
Warrington Animal Welfare

*WE NEED A SPECIAL HOME*

These young girls are not suited to a life as pet cats as they are semi-feral.  They have missed out on human contact when they were kittens and so are very wary of humans.

We are looking for a home for them where they are fed and looked after but can roam freely, for example on a stable yard.  With time and patience they may allow people to briefly stroke them, but they probably never will be “lap cats.”

18 Months and 1 Year Old mixed

Cathy and Heathcliff, a pair of cats seeking a special home. They have had it rough for a while, living in a shed and were covered in fleas when they arrived. Cathy (tabby) loves people and craves attention but is rather shy, and Heathcliff is very scared and will hiss but is quickly learning that being around people is ok.

Cathy is 18 months old, Heathcliff a year old, and they are neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. They just need a loving home together in which to grow in confidence and feel loved again.

Avril & Stevie (Warrington Animal Welfare)

SPECIAL HOME – Cat DSH
Adult, mixed

Warrington Animal Welfare

Avril & Stevie are part of the group of cats with Dolly, Christina and Ariana – and we would prefer to rehome them as a pair.

Stevie (right) and Avril (left) are two best friends looking for a loving home together – a very special home to make up for their tough past, living in cramped conditions with multiple cats and not been fed properly.  They have all had to have dental treatment – some of these poor kitties have no teeth left so have funny smiles.
They were very nervous when they first arrived, but have grown in confidence and enjoy head rubs and fussing’s once they get to know you.

Stevie and Avril MUST be rehomed together as they spend their days snuggling and grooming each other. They just need a kind human friend who can give them the love and care they need.

Elric (Warrington Animal Welfare)

Cat DSH
3 Years Old male

Poor Elric came to us after spending months on the streets – nobody could find his owners.  He was at the centre, but pod life really didn’t suit him and he was very miserable.

He is now with one of our fosterers and the difference is amazing!  He is showing his foster mum that he is an affectionate, playful cat – all he needed was a proper home to bring him out of his shell.

Celine and Dione (long stayers – been overlooked) – Cat DSH
4 and 2 Years Old female

Celine and Dionne came to us with Mylie, and sadly they were also suffering from a nasty flea infestation. Celine is the older 4 year old lady with more white on her face, and Dionne is the younger at 2 years old.

Celine is the more confident of the two and will come to you for head rubs and cuddles, whilst Dionne is shyer and likes to stay in the outside area, but does not mind being picked up for a quick fuss. Marshall, Minnie & Mango (Cat Homing and Rescue – Warrington)

Meet Marshall, Mango and Minnie,  three pretty little sibling kittens about 9 weeks old now looking for their forever loving homes. These little kittens are two little girls Minnie and Mango and a little boy called Marshall. They are all friendly affectionate little kittens and can be re-homed with a cat friendly dog and another friendly little cat. However we do not re-home any of our kittens with children under the age of five years. These kittens all have little individual personalities and markings. Marshall is the kitten sitting by the window and he loves exploring. Mango is the kitten lying down and she loves having her tummy tickled and Minnie is the kitten with the smudge on the side of her nose and she is quite vocal.

All these kittens will make loyal and loving pets. Our rescue manager, Hazel, will conduct a home visit before an adoption is authorised and we would ask for a minimum donation of £65 for each kitten to cover their vet fees, ie vaccinations, microchipping and neutering when old enough. We offer a complimentary 4 week petplan insurance on the day of adoption for each kitten. If you would like to adopt any of our rescue kittens please email your details ie address, postcode, work commitments and a landline number to maeggiejean2000@yahoo.co.uk We are looking to re-homing our kittens in a safe location with possible access to a secure garden

Suki (Cat Homing and Rescue – Warrington)

MEET SUKI A 5 HALF – 6 YEAR OLD FEMALE TABBY AND WHITE CAT WHO HAS REcently been taken into our rescue as her owner is terminally ill and had to go into a hospice. This is a very sad situation as this little cat has lived with her owner since she was a kitten and now needs a new forever loving home. Suki would best be re-homed in a quiet household with a lady owner who has no other cats, dogs or children. Suki is quite shy but will be a loyal and loving companion once she gains your trust. She will need lots of love and attention to help her adjust to her hew home and environment.

Her details will shortly be posted on catchat.org and on our very own web page www.cathomingandrescue.co.uk

If you believe you meet our homing criteria and would like to offer Suki a permanent forever loving home, please email your details ie address, postcode, work commitments and a landline number we can contact you on to maeggiejean2000@yahoo.co.uk
Our rescue manager will conduct a home visit before an adoption is authorised and we would ask for a minimum donation of £65 to cover all suki’s vet fees. This little cat has been fully vaccinated, microchipped, neutered and vet health checked.

Myrtle (Laurel Animal Rescue)

Myrtle is a petite black & white girl who arrived with us with her two ten day old kittens. The upsetting thing about this is she is only a kitten herself. This just highlights the importance of neutering.
She is a very loving cat. She wasn’t keen on other cats at first, but she soon got used to them in our catpen and is currently sharing it with 9 others. She keeps herself to herself and still prefers humans to cats but will happy queue up with the others for Dreamies!

If you would like to offer a home to Hubble, please message Laurel Animal Rescue on Facebook or Twitter or phone 07518 256160 or 07590 900330.

Robyn (Laurel Animal Rescue)

Robyn is a stunning, sleek tabby cat who arrived with us after giving birth in a garden shed in St Helens. So on a cold, wet Sunday night we went to get Robyn and her babies to safety.
As usual, the kittens all found homes and people overlook the mum cat.
Robyn is now neutered and looking for her forever home. We believe her to be 12 months old. She’s fine around other cats and enjoys chin tickles. She has also been around dogs while in our care.

If you would like to offer a home to Hubble, please message Laurel Animal Rescue on Facebook or Twitter or phone 07518 256160 or 07590 900330.
